I'm Kate. I feel so honored to create images of life and love in an authentic, beautiful way.
I am a native New Englander but love to travel the world. I live with my four beautiful children, my husband, and our sweet rescue dogs, Posie and Dot.
My fine art background includes studying photography in Chicago and Seattle, and working in commercial food photography studio. However, I quickly fell in love with weddings. The ability to create an experience of a lifetime for my couples is something I cherish.
As a photographer, I shoot a mixture of film and digital and love to create clean, natural, timeless imagery.
I have a deep passion for authentic connections.
When I am not photographing people and events I can be found working in my garden, hanging out with my family, traveling or hiking with my dogs.
Family is everything to me. I am one of six kids, and with four children of my own, there is nothing more gratifying than the laughter and joy that fills a home.

I'm an avid gardener.
I am an avid gardener, and a chronic over-planter. I just can't help myself and plant way too many flowers. Peonies and hellebores will forever have my heart.

I love animals, and riding fills my soul.
I love animals. I have two rescue dogs (Posie and Dot) a little Pomeranian (Tinkerbell), two horses (Jubilee and Starling) and a whole flock of chickens. I would adopt a whole farm-full of animals if I could! My favorite afternoons are when my daughter, Bea, and I can ride our horses together.

I went to art school for my BFA and still love making all kinds of art including photography, painting… anything I can create with my heart and my hands.
