Fairy Wings

I love this family.  I’ve been photographing them since their youngest daughter was born and every time I see them we have fun.  Part of what makes this family so great is that they bring their adorable daughters to their sessions in cute outfits, but also as they are. You know, with Thomas the Train tattoos on their hands and fairy wings on their backs.  I love that they do this because their portraits are so very real.  Next year, when I see them, their daughter may not want anything to do with fairy wings.  It’s a small moment in time but important to document.  Enjoying the little things, isn’t that what parenting is all about?
