I am so excited to share the lovely wedding photos of Michelle and Ben today! This couple was so fun and their Boston wedding was warm, intimate and as genuine as can be. Weddings like this make my heart swell and I am so honored to be a part of them.
Michelle and Ben started their day getting ready in a relative’s apartment building overlooking Cambridge. They had their first look on a bridge right over Storrow Drive and almost caused an accident from the well wishing drivers below. Their beautiful black and gold colors could be found all throughout the details of the day, even in the hand painted gold wine bottles for the centerpieces. Each guest received a huge caramel apple from a local orchard. Michelle is an avid runner (we’re talking marathons here) and Ben owns his own Taekwondo school so the two are active and possibly a bit competitive 😉 Their ceremony and reception were held at Les Zygomates Wine Bar in Boston and the food and drink were amazing. Ben was not allowed to have a Taekwondo themed wedding but he did manage to sneak in a samurai sword for the cake cutting. Michelle’s bouquet held nine yellow flowers in remembrance of loved ones that couldn’t be there and a few pictures of her dog babies.
Congratulations to an amazing couple! May you always enjoy your amazing race together!
XOXO~Kate

Amazing pictures of a wonderful couple and a great wedding!
And…. cue the tears! Thank you for taking care of my best friend’s memories! Love you Kate!
Kate, you have such an amazing eye for special moments! I have heard so much about your skills from Jill Carter and have viewed many of the photos that you have taken of her and her family. The way that you captured Michelle and Ben’s special day is beautiful. I hope to have such special photos for myself some day.
