Wedding days that are forecast to be rainy and end up drenched in sun are sweetened by gratitude. Weddings that take place in a beautiful field at the bride’s childhood home, surrounded by loving friends from all over the world, well, they’re pretty tough to beat.
Annie and Ben were married on a glorious August afternoon in a field behind Annie’s New England home. Annie and Ben are world travelers but their theme of coming home was touching. There was so much love and friendship surrounding this wedding. It felt as though the field itself embraced its guests as wildflower seeds were thrown into the grass to remember the day. So many personal touches made the day unique and special. The beautiful sun print place cards were made with wildflowers by Annie’s sister and her two sisters made a flower crown for Ben to welcome him to the family. Personal stories were shared by friends and laughter filled the tent. The rejoicing lasted well into the night and I was so honored to be there on this very special occasion.
Congratulations to Annie and Ben! May you have many incredible journeys together but always come back to see your wildflowers growing and remember this very special day.
XO~Kate
