Oh My Goodness! Do I have something wonderful to share with you today!! I was lucky enough to be a part of an incredible group of wedding vendors and together we created an amazing styled wedding shoot.
Sorrell, from Events by Sorrell, and I talked about collaborating on an inspiration shoot over coffee one day and were brainstorming about unique places to host it. She had recently seen a video about a place called The Aldworth Manor in Harrisville, NH which was being lovingly restored by it’s new owner, Shane Long. We decided that it’s rustic elegance was the perfect venue for our vision and Shane was amazingly wonderful at accommodating our wishes! That was the beginning of this adventure and from there we contacted our favorite local vendors (and a few not so local) to help us complete our black tie vision.
The Aldworth Manor is now available to use as an event space as it continues to be restored. If you are looking for a very unique, grand, gorgeous, soul-filled space for your wedding or event, I would highly recommend looking into this place first! Set in the quaint town of Harrisville, NH, it overlooks Mount Monadnock. The property is grand with it’s arches, European type details, and gardens lined with old granite walls.
Each artist brought their own unique and professional talent to the shoot and the results are so stunning. From the dresses to the cake, to the lovely stationary, to the ah-mazing flowers by Apotheca, I am head over heels in love with all aspects of this shoot! Sorrell is an amazing detail person and pulled everything together to make this shoot so incredible! We asked a former bride and groom of mine (Danielle and Derrick) to be our lovely models and my little Bea got to be our flower girl in the most beautiful Fattie Pie dress. Seriously, I want to wear one of these dresses!! Sorrell’s son and girlfriend were our lovely bridesmaid and groomsman. Megan from Inspirations Bridal provided the perfect Allure bridal gowns for the shoot, from the ball gowns to the oh so lovely gold sequined Sorella Vita bridesmaid’s gown. Gah! Like all of our vendors, she was incredible at hearing our vision and choosing the perfect match! Sarno and Sons dressed our groom so handsomely in Allure tuxes. Marsala, smoky blue, gold and chartreuse were the color palate. Alyssa from Apotheca Flowers and Tea Shoppe created truly remarkable floral arrangements with a stunning and contemporary palate of colors. And wait until you see the bouquet and Bea’s flower crown! I die! Celeste from Impress Me Designs made the exquisite stationary and Shara from Chickadee Hill Cakes blew us all away with the detail work in her striking cake. Ava Marie Chocolates complimented our silhouette theme with delicious and unique chocolate favors. Manhattan East made our bride and bridesmaid’s hair gorgeous and Ellen from European Esthetics did the impeccable makeup on both girls.
I am so proud to be a part of this perfect team and would highly recommend all of them for your next event!

As I used to live where this wedding in Harrisville took place back in the 1970s and 1980s it is good to see a familiar photos in a wedding.
