Amanda and Matt were married on the most beautiful of August days in Jaffrey, NH. Their ceremony was held at the historic Jaffrey Meeting House and their reception was held at Amanda’s Aunt and Uncle’s home where she and her family spent many summers vacationing.
Amanda has impeccable taste and designed every gorgeous detail of her breathtaking wedding. From their monogram, to the ribbon, to the oh so beautiful flowers and table settings, there was so much to take in and love about this wedding. Amanda wore a gorgeous Corolina Herrera skirt over a romper which I adored and each bridesmaid (also gorgeous) wore a peach or pink dress of their own choice. The couple’s Springer Spaniel, Wyatt, was a big part of their day as he is obviously a huge part of their lives. Amanda rides horses competitively in dressage and it was fitting that we were able to take some portraits in the old historic horse sheds near the Meeting House.
The property where the reception was held is a large summer “cabin”. It is filled with incredible books, games, signs and objects. Each room boasts it’s own collection of paint by numbers paintings and I believe they may have the largest collection in the world. I had to photograph Amanda in the “horse” room! My favorite thing about the upstairs of this home are the photos that line the walls from the years of family visits and summer vacations. There is such a rich history in this home and it is easy to see why they chose to have their wedding in this special place.
Monadonck Tent provided the tents, floors, tables and dishes. The flowers (that I am still dreaming about) were done by Terra Floral and the delicious farm to table food was catered by Mayfair Farm in Harrisville, NH. The band was Honey Train and the day of coordination was by Lindsay from MStarr Event Design.
Congratulations to this wonderful couple!
XO~Kate
