Cold and rainy wedding days are not something you typically wish for. Especially when your venue is the breathtaking Aldworth Manor in Harrisville, NH.  But when it happens, you have a choice to feel sorry for yourself or to carry on, keep laughing, and enjoy your day to it’s fullest. And that is exactly what Mary and Brian Paul did. These two are amazingly kind and creative souls and all of their love and personal touches with this wedding were enough to keep away any dark clouds. Mary’s lovely wrap dress (and the guys ties) were made by her friend Sarah of Yellow Clover. Brian Paul made the invitations, the bar and, oh yeah, their wedding rings! Mary dyed the cheesecloth table covers with such a gorgeous Annie Selke chalk paint blue and Apotheca Flowers worked some serious magic with the florals in the tent and at the ceremony! The ceremony had to be moved last minute due to the rain but Apotheca went into action and set up an amazing altar site on the stairs under the archway. Coll’s Flowers made the gorgeous bouquets Knife and Spoon catered the event.
This wedding was not only beautiful but so loving and heartfelt in every way. I enjoyed every minute with these two and it was so special to photograph their wedding at this remarkable new venue which I have been photographing since it was just getting started. Seeing the progress that Shane has made at Aldworth and watching a real wedding come to life at this soulful place was truly magical. And I can’t think of a more perfect couple to witness a marriage here than Mary and Brian Paul. Congratulations to a very special pair and may you always find the light and sunshine together even on the darkest days.
XO~Kate
